Internal assessments – Years 7, 8, 9 and 10
The final week of the internal assessments for years 7, 8, 9 and 10 is week commencing 24 April. A copy of the letters and timetables are available on the letters home page. https://www.aylshamhigh.com/ahslettershome

External exams Summer 2023 – Years 9, 10 and 11
Students have been given their summer external exam timetable.
We will shortly be sharing a revision timetable for sessions which takes place within the school day during the exam period.
A copy of the revision timetable can be found here. This contains details of revision sessions taking place at lunch time and after school.
The videos below have been shared with students and families to support preparations for the summer external exams:
GCSE results day is Thursday 24 August. Further details regarding the collection of results will be shared with families nearer the time.
SIMS Parent – behaviour notifications from 18th April 2023
On Tuesday 18th April, we switched on the notifications for behaviour incidents. These will be sent daily at 4pm to parents/carers when their child has a behaviour incident recorded on that day prior to 4pm. Parents/carers will therefore receive a notification at 4pm for both achievements and behaviour.
Notifications are received by all parents/carers who are logged into the SIMS Parent app and have their notifications switched on. These notifications are to alert you to a new message within the messages section. Therefore users of the SIMS Parent website will be able to view these in the messages section but wouldn’t receive a notification.
Reports reminder
The following school reports have been shared via SIMS Parent:
- Year 7 spring report – updated to include tutor report
- Year 8 autumn report updated to include the rotation 3 report
- Year 9 spring report (form tutor version)
- Year 10 spring report
- Year 11 summer report
Please ensure that you read your child’s report on SIMS Parent and then complete the parent/carer reply form which has been shared with you via ParentMail in the email to let you know that the reports are available.

Scabies Increase Across the Local Authority
Please click here to a factsheet about Scabies. The Local Authority has seen an increase in community transmission and have asked the school to share this information. We would like to confirm though we have not had any confirmed cases at Aylsham High School.
