Year 7 and 8 rotation – changing on Monday 26th February
When we return from the February half term break on Monday 26th February, students in years 7 and 8 will move to their next rotation subject.

Please ensure that you read your child’s report on SIMS Parent and then complete the parent/carer reply form which has been shared with you via ParentMail in the email to let you know that the reports are available. Your child can also access a copy of their report on their SIMS Student account.

Option choices for current years 8, 9, 10
SIMS Options has now been closed at 3.25pm today.
SIMS Options has now been 'closed' and is therefore 'read-only' for students and families.
If your child would like to make a change to their options, they need to come to the STAR office at break or lunch time to see either Ms Stonestreet or Mrs Cooke.
If your child hadn't finished their option choices prior to SIMS Options being closed, they will shortly be requested to see a member of staff to support them with making their option choices.

Parents’ Evenings
During the Spring term, we have Parents’ Evenings on SchoolCloud taking place for each year group:
- Year 10 – Monday 12th February and Tuesday 13th February
- Year 9 – Wednesday 28th February and Thursday 29th February
- Year 7 – Wednesday 13th March and Thursday 14th March

SIMS Student
All students have access to SIMS Student using their school alf.education email address.
If your child has parental controls on their phone, please help them to download the SIMS Student and give them permission to use their school email account on their phone.
To get support with SIMS Student, students can see their computing teacher or Mrs Cooke in the STAR office at break or lunch time.

SIMS Parent
Please note, we have been made aware by SIMS that there is currently an issue with logging into SIMS Parent using the Facebook log in option. SIMS are currently working on resolving this issue. We will provide a further update once this issue has been resolved. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
All parents/carers with parental responsibilty are able to access SIMS Parent once registered.
